I want to apologize for what I said earlier this week.
As I said, no company truly has QA figured out. Most people inside Sony QA actually read the post instead of reading the news and realized what I was trying to say, but there are several people out there who are taking in the headlines only and not digging beyond it.
I'm sorry for any grief that I may have caused you or your employees.
Sincerely,
Michael Russell

Apologize to Sony if you want, but I for one am saving your posts about QA. I agree with your views and it's about time someone said it. Shoot, I was hoping you'd be QA's very own version of "EA Spouse"
Trust me, I'd love nothing more than to effect a sea change in this industry like "easpouse" did, but I have two things against me that "easpouse" didn't have:
1) I'm not anonymous.
2) I'm employed by a company that I enjoy, and want to stay that way.
Making things difficult for current employer to affect sea change in industry potentially puts number two at risk.
That said, I still stand by what I said, but I should have found a better way to say it.
