RomTerraria 4 v0.2 Released

Wow...3,200 downloads in less than 24 hours.  Nuts.
  • Found the issue with the crashes in single- and multiplayer on x64 boxes.  Turns out there is a knowledge base article about it.  The Terraria.exe.config file now included should take care of it, whether you use RomTerraria or not.
  • Added "Disable Achievements" per request.
Get it now.

Unknown,

Did you copy over the Terraria.exe.config file as well?

yes

Hrm...the error is an ExecutionEngineException for .NET. It's a generic error, which doesn't help much.

Let me keep looking into it. It can happen with concurrent GC (which is what the Terraria.exe.config file disables). It can happen with the TPL (which Terraria isn't using).

If I can reproduce it, I might be able to fix it.

I was able to create a new world and play. though exiting the program and trying to play again didnt rendered the new world unplayable (though there was a weird graphical glitch with the water, it lacked it's volume https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMvOsPwI2OLQnV5ZjdzdXNrZ0k/view?usp=sharing

Unknown,

The issue you were seeing there with the water is similar to an issue reported by Medic Grym in the other thread.

I'll keep looking at both. They're probably related.
