According to Robert Scoble, who is pointing to Kevin Schofield, the NCAA will not recognize computer science courses as counting towards required credits so that a person can play collegiate sports.
Heaven forbid that we allow our college athletes to learn a skill that they can use to make some money after they blow out their knees after one game. Lord knows that we don't want our athletes to be able to do anything except play their game, burn out quickly, and end up selling Ford trucks to make ends meet...
