Carnalitty, can you post a screenshot? Not sure what you mean.

Are there plans (or is it possible) to make the Steam in-game UI available using the RomTerraria.exe?

Michael Russell said...

Brandon,

Wrappers can't initialize the Steam UI due to the design of Steam.

However, if you add the RomTerraria executable into Steam via "Add A Non-Steam Game," you get the overlay.

That's the good news.

The bad news is you'd have to readd it after every update.

It installs on Windows 7 to a subfolder under:

C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Local\Apps\

...but I can't tell you where it installs each time. Guess that's something to add into RC5.

Ahh, I should have thought of that. Thanks for the protip.

carnalitty,

That's a screenshot of a web scoreboard for a game I don't recognize.

hmm...not 100% sure why that came up...not 100% sure what that is >_>
sorry about that this one is the right one

carnalitty,

It looks like it's the skinning library that you're using, like Windowblinds or something similar.

Most skinning libraries let you exclude an executable name. If you can have it exclude "RomTerraria.exe" and "RomTerraria2.exe," that should prevent this from happening.

Ok, Michael. Caught something weird today. I noticed it before, but didn't make any connection to the RT program. I don't know yet if it happens every time(I'll play around with it), but I created a new character for an Andventure Map, gave him the hair with the beard and made it orange, and then quit after a little while of playing.

Well, I just come back to it and his hair is different. It's the flat top. Now, I'm pretty sure this is a RT issue, because I created my original character without hair at all when I was still using another program to apply texture packs. When I used RT he had hair all of a sudden.

Let me know if I can provide any more info. ;)

Brandon,

It looks like they changed the offsets for the textures for the clothing. Working on a fix, be part of the next build.

Would it be possible to put back in the Hold Shift to see what your mouse is over? I'm partly colourblind so differentiating say Stone and Iron Ore is damn difficult for me.

RayvenQ,

Working on getting it into the next build. Trying to update the tile ID list to go along with it.

Will you publish the source code soon too? I always adjusted the code a bit here and there, eg. 'p.statLife = p.statMaxLife' instead 'p.statLife++'. :D I cannot play without it. I'm too lazy...

The "Regeneration HP/Mana" slider isn't working. Nothing happens no matter where you slide the slider :(

Huldu said...

My bad it works, or at least something glitched out last night. Took the slider to 95% and works fine now. Thanks.
