Terraria 1.1.2 and RomTerraria

I have no idea if the 1.1.2 release of Terraria that was released today is compatible with RomTerraria or not.

If it isn't compatible, I can't fix it until February 1. I'm not going to even have a broadband connection at home until Thursday night, and my computer won't be in up here from Dallas until January 30.

Sorry about the inconvenience.  If there are bugs out there that I'm not aware of, please reply to this post with them.

Not sure if this is a recent bug cause by 1.2, or an existing bug, but when running Terraria through RomTerraria the ability to have 'Color' Lighting disappears.

This breaks many things from 1.1 such as the disco ball(Largest break) and it really just kills the atmosphere of the game to have everything bathed in Pure-White light when you're using torches underground.

I hope this is something that is very easy to fix (Hopefully merely adding a variable somewhere to allow more than 2 Lighting choices) But Until then I cannot use RomTerraria, as it ruins the game for me to have boring lighting.

Thanks for the program otherwise!

Golith,

I'm gradually going through and unpacking following my move to Seattle. I've managed to find everything to set my computer back up except for my mouse and the cabling for the machine.

Once I get those small items settled, I'll check into these issues.

Thanks for reporting them.

Not a Problem! Thank you for taking notice of the report, aside from the lighting the Widescreen mode works flawlessly for me (Even at 5040x1050, no crash like it warns against) So I'm extremely pleased, and It would be AWESOME if the lighting ends up being easy to fix. It wouldn't be much of a problem, it's just my server's house is lit up with Disco balls, :D
